Control Systems in Electric Drives

The section focuses on control systems for electric drives with AC and DC electric machines ensuring highly efficient and precise tracking of torque/force, velocity and position commands. It delves into the design, analysis, and implementation of control strategies in variety of industrial applications such as robotics, NC machine tools, power propulsion and other automated industrial units. This section covers topics including feedback control, parameter identification, cascade closed-loop systems, state observers, sensor technologies, motion planning, fault detection and diagnosis.
